The Centennial Titans defeated the Heritage Coyotes Thursday night at the Ford Center with a thrilling comeback victory 34-33. Senior Caleb Leal kicked the game winning 38 yard field goal as time expired improving the Titans record to 4-3 and 3-1 in district action. The Coyotes had heroics of their own as they kicked a fieldgoal to take the lead 33-31 with 1:04 left in the game. Senior QB Weston Symes drove the Titans down the field to set up Leal's game winning kick. Sophomore Jackson Marshall blocked an earlier extra point attempt by the Coyotes which turned out to be a huge point on the final scoreboard. Senior Riley Hicks stopped a Coyote drive with an interception in the Titan endzone during an action packed fourth quarter.

Centennial quarterback Weston Symes had 318 all-purpose yards and threw for three touchdowns. Senior Jake Harrelson had seven receptions for 157 yards and a touchdown. Several of Harrelson receptions converted first downs for the Titan offense. Junior tight ends Jaxon Baker and JD Stephens both had touchdown receptions for the Titans. Senior Justin Smith added 74 yards on the ground. Senior BJ Wilson had a productive night adding 50 yards on 6 carries. This was a offensive explosion as both teams combined for over 950 yards on the night.

The Titans return to action Friday, October 26 versus the Lone Star Rangers at FISD Memorial Stadium. Kick off is set for 7:00 pm.
